Meet me, Regan!
I’m a neurodivergent therapist who grew up in a neurodivergent household, so I understand firsthand that there is no single “right” way to process the world.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct, with a touch of humor. Many people I work with learned early on to mask, carry shame for being different from their friends or family, and then struggle to make sense of or regulate their emotions.
I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are, free of judgment. Together, we can begin to explore what healing and self-understanding might look like for you.
I work with children, teens, college students, and adults, as well as families navigating neurodivergence, complex trauma (CPTSD), anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and identity challenges.
I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #152248) supervised by Dr. Vanessa Isetta (#PSY20941). I have a Bachelor of Science in Film & Television (with a concentration in Psychology) from Boston University, and a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University, with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology and Counseling.
My clinical background, outside of private practice, includes providing mental health services in school settings across elementary, middle, and high schools.
My work has focused on supporting students through the IEP process and contributing to social and emotional learning (SEL) assessment and planning.
My clinical lens is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and attachment-focused, with a particular emphasis on supporting individuals and families navigating symptoms related to Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). I am especially drawn to working with clients whose experiences of trauma, family conflict, or chronic stress have shaped how they relate to themselves, their emotions, and others.
Especially when it hides in plain sight as perfectionism, people-pleasing, and hypervigilance.
My clinical work is informed by ongoing continuing education and specialized coursework focused on trauma assessment and CPTSD treatment, including:
• Childhood trauma assessment
• Adult trauma assessment
• Polyvagal-informed approaches to trauma
• Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework
• Play therapy approaches for trauma
• Sensory Motor Arousal and Regulation Treatment (SMART)
• Sensorimotor psychotherapy principles
My goal is to help clients move beyond survival, creating space for genuine self-compassion, safety, and connection.
Because I know traditional talk therapy doesn’t work for everyone, I often integrate cinematherapy, art, and interactive tools to make sessions more engaging and reflective of each client’s individuality. Or maybe sometimes we just need to go take a long walk outside together.
Whatever works for you, works for me too. And if you’re not sure what works for you yet. That’s okay. We can figure it out together.
